Oriental Chinoiserie Furniture is hand made and hand painted by highly skilled craftsmen. Further to the base coat being applied, pieces are treated with several layers of natural lacquer. The craftsmen then paints the fine gold coloured detail and imaginative motifs including fretwork, pagodas, landscapes and rivers by hand on top of the lacquer. A final lacquer coat is then applied resulting in a truly exquisite work of art.
