These stunning 220mm globes have been exquisitely hand made from gemstones from around the world and each gemstone is cut and shaped by hand. The blue oceans are made from Lapis Lazuli which you can actually see sparkling in the light. The lines of latitude and longitude are made from very fine gilded wire. All the stars on the night sky globes can be seen by the naked eye and there are fifteen hundred and twenty three Mother of Pearl hand cut stars in each globe. The constellations are joined together by fine gilded wire and the legends are silk screen printed. The ecliptic suns are of natural Argonite set in a Black Agate sky. The Milky Way is shown as a fine silver cloud. Each globe has its own individual authenticity hologram number on the base, with the other in the handbook.
